Enzymes

The enzyme is a type of live cell or biochemical or catalyst, it acts as a catalyst to accelerate the reaction. An enzyme is a biochemical substance that acts as a constituent in a chemical reaction. It only works on cellulose (plant) national fibers. During enzyme washing, the enzyme first attacks the projecting fiber and then the yarn of the fabric and hydrolyzes it. As a result we get faded effect as a design in the product.

Usually the traditional enzyme we use for denim is amylase enzyme. It reacts with starch to hydrolyze starch and another enzyme fades denim.

In our country, two types of enzymes are used

1. Acid enzyme (liquid)

2. Neutral Enzyme (Liquid - SL, Powder)
